Turkey Hunts

Turkey hunting at its finest! So says a Mesquite River Outfitters turkey hunter. 

Semi-guided 3-day hunts for Rio Grande turkeys in the Spring of each year are offered by Mesquite River Outfitters on the Henderson Family ranches in Schleicher County, Texas. The ranches cover approximately 10,000 acres with large populations of turkey across the land.

Turkey Hunts are priced at $1,350 and include:
  All meals prepared by our cook
  Lodge and comfortable motel-style accommodations
  Guide if desired
  Limit of two gobblers
:: A turkey hunt can be added to any Whitetail deer hunt in the Fall for $650
:: If blood is drawn the animal is considered harvested

Predator Hunts

Predator hunts can be booked through Mesquite River Outfitters during the cooler months of the year.  Each hunt is scheduled on an individual basis. Contact Sam Henderson, Jr for additional information and  pricing.

This hog weighed 360 pounds, was 57 inches in girth behind the shoulders, 36 inches in height at the shoulder and 5 ft 8 inches from nose to tail.
